During a casting session, two film directors find the perfect 13 years old girl for their new movie. Now they must convince her reluctant mother to let her daughter play the role of a sexually abused child. What follows is a witty argumentation on the abuses and sacrifices made in the name of great works of art.

Born on 4.11.1971 in Deva, is a Romanian filmmaker living and working in Bucharest. In 2007, his short film, “Waves” brought him the Golden Leopard of Tomorrow in Locarno Film Festival. His debut feature film, “Hooked”, premiered at the Venice Days Film Festival in 2008 and established Sitaru as a new voice in Romanian post communist cinema. Since then, his films gathered recognition from festivals such as Chicago, Sundance, Berlinale and Sarajevo.
